The Brewed Awakening Cafe

This place is on point. One of the best clubs foam drinks I have had backed with flavor, you may as well just come here for the American Dream drink and skip the mall. They were also nice to give two tops of bagels with cream cheese, which was a first for me. Many seats to choose from, and overall cleanliness was top. Thanks! Definitely a must visit for the area.

Brewed Awakening is everything someone could want in a coffee shop. They hit that sweet spot of being consistently busy while not feeling crowded. They are open until late in the evening, and sometimes even later to serve the theater crowd. They have tall tables, short tables, and a lounge area with comfortable couches and chairs. This is a great place to meet up with someone for a chat, or get some time on your own. There are plenty of outlets to plug in a laptop or phone, and a couple bookcases if you need some tech-free time. I appreciate that they allow you to bring in your own reusable travel mug, because sometimes I have too much work to do to stick around. On top of all this, they also feature live musicians on Saturday evening. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Absolutely love it. I've never once had a bad drink or bad service. The atmosphere and warmth are perfect. I love trying seasonal specials! It's a great way to mix things up especially if you're like me and don't actually know that much about coffee.

My Broker and I meet to discuss business over coffee at local coffee shops every week or two. This last week we visited the “newer” one in Pitman, The Brewed Awakening Cafe. I was here with my hubby the day they opened, my birthday - April 29th. And it was good, but it was their first day open. I always planned on coming back for a more authentic experience. I had a medium roast coffee and a slice of pumpkin bread from the famous LeBus Bakery in Philly. My Broker ordered a cappuccino. He said it was presented so nicely he didn’t want to drink it, but of course, he did. It was all really tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. The real deal to this cafe is the space. There are so many options for sitting and enjoying your beverage. From couches, to comfy seats, to tables - there is something for everyone. The attached space feels like you are at home in your living room! If you are in Pitman enjoying a parade, a show, or just shopping, I recommend to stop here to grab your coffee. It’s also a great place to bring your laptop to get some work done. #trustkj

Just went there for the first time with my husband and my daughter and it was soooo good! I usually don’t like certain coffee shops because they don’t have good coffee for actual coffee drinkers but this one had amazing coffee. We had cold brews and got to choose our own flavored cold foam from there long list of syrup flavors! Highly recommend! P.s. the muffin was also delicious!

A welcome oasis in this parched town. Despite the constant Main Street bustle, it offers a surprisingly calm atmosphere. Service is consistently friendly, even during peak foot traffic. A small haven for locals and passersby alike, it's a testament to good coffee's power to refresh, even in the driest of places. The cafe breve was absolutely delicious. Great bagels as well.

We love The Brewed Awakening!! I had never had cold foam before until ordering a cold brew from here and omg now it is now my favorite!! And this is hands down our favorite coffee shop! Such a cozy environment! Owners are awesome! I love that they host musicians we recommend this place to everyone!

Nice local coffee shop. Great atmosphere and was pretty busy on Sunday morning 10am. Beautiful latte art and proper temperature of the flat whites that we ordered. Using LaColombe beans - so nice medium roast. Great value, one of the best coffee shops in SJ.
